Please note this is subject to change and DEECD approval.  We will be running two 4 year old programmes in 2017.  We still have limited vacancies.

Closure on Code Red Days

Recent bushfires have caused the Department of Education and Early Childhood to  review its Fire Rating System. In the event of a “catastrphoic” or “extreme”  rating, the Department will instruct the Preschool to close. We may have up to  three days warning or as little as a few hours. Once the decision has been made  to close the centre, this decision will not be changed regardless of any changes  in the weather.

Parents will be notified either by note or by email depending on how much notice  we are given by the department. We encourage parents to be a aware of any high  fire danger days and to be aware of any possible closures. These closures are  announced by the Department and not by the preschool or committee and are done  for the safety of children and staff.
